Six spots, the SF RPD permit ($150–$4,500), the bloom calendar, and the foggiest months to skip. From an SF wedding photographer who has shot every corner of this 1,000-acre park.
Golden Gate Park is San Francisco's best-kept wedding secret. 1,017 acres, 12 distinct gardens, two glasshouses, a Japanese tea garden, a redwood grove, and a lake with a boathouse — all within one bus ride of City Hall.
It is also weather-volatile. June through August fog rolls in by 11 AM and stays. Pick your season right and the park does the rest.
